Strengthen the Portfolio. Drive Smart Growth. Shape What's Next.

Do You Belong Here?

Greylock Federal Credit Union is seeking a strategic, analytical, and collaborative leader to serve as its next Vice President of Real Estate Lending. This is an opportunity to lead a critical lending portfolio while helping shape the systems, processes, and strategies that will support Greylock's continued growth.

The Vice President of Real Estate Lending will provide strategic direction for Greylock's real estate lending portfolio, overseeing underwriting, credit administration, portfolio strategy, and lending operations. This leader will balance responsible growth with sound risk management while identifying opportunities to strengthen performance, improve the member experience, and build scalable lending capabilities.

Reporting to the SVP of Lending, the VP of Real Estate Lending will partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen credit governance, advance analytics and reporting, support new lending initiatives, and expand the organization's capabilities.

Greylock is guided by its IDEA principles - Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility - and is committed to creating an environment grounded in psychological safety, respect, collaboration, and a workforce that reflects the communities it serves.

Is Your Purpose Building Stronger Real Estate Lending?

The Vice President of Real Estate Lending will serve as a key leader in strengthening the performance, risk management, and long-term strategy of Greylock's real estate lending portfolio.

A significant focus of the role will be providing executive oversight of real estate underwriting through the Underwriting Supervisor. The VP will establish underwriting strategy, uphold Greylock's credit culture, guide complex credit decisions and exceptions, and ensure lending frameworks support responsible growth and emerging products and programs.

This leader will also oversee strategic reporting and advanced analytics used by senior leadership and the Board. By turning portfolio data into meaningful insights, the VP will identify emerging risks, evaluate portfolio health, and help guide strategic decisions.

Beyond underwriting and analytics, the VP will lead initiatives to improve the end-to-end real estate lending process - strengthening efficiency, regulatory compliance, capacity, training, and service delivery. The role will also support expansion into new geographic markets, lending partnerships, originations strategy, secondary market capabilities, and business development.

Can We Grow Together?

The ideal candidate is an experienced mortgage lending leader with 7+ years of mortgage lending experience and a demonstrated ability to lead teams, collaborate across departments, and make sound, data-informed decisions. A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and specialized training is required.

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Strong experience in mortgage and real estate lending, including underwriting and credit oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze portfolio performance and translate data into strategic insights
  • Experience improving lending processes, systems, and operational workflows
  • Strong business acumen, analytical and critical thinking skills, and sound judgment
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency with LOS platforms, lending technology, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office
  • A collaborative leadership style and commitment to inclusion, respect, and teamwork

This leader will be equally comfortable navigating complex credit decisions, analyzing portfolio trends, presenting insights to senior leadership and the Board, and coaching their team toward stronger performance.

As Greylock continues to evolve its real estate lending capabilities, the Vice President of Real Estate Lending will play an important role in strengthening the portfolio, improving how work gets done, and creating the capacity for responsible growth.

The target salary range for this position is $120,000–$157,000 annually. In addition to your base compensation, you will be eligible for a management incentive program.
